JACKSON, Mich. - The Crossroads League placed 20 student-athletes on the 2025 College Sports Communicators NAIA Softball Academic All-District Team. Indiana Wesleyan and Marian combined for half of the honors with five each, with Goshen and Taylor collecting four and Grace adding two.
The CSC Academic All-District award is given to a student-athlete who maintains a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average while having reached sophomore status academically and having played in at least 90 percent, or started in 66 percent of their team's contests throughout the current season. Individuals must also have been nominated by their Sports Information Department to make the list.
Each softball team is allowed up to five nominations, with selected CSC Academic All-District recipients advancing to the ballot for CSC Academic All-America honors. Those awards will be voted on by members of CSC from around the nation and will be announced on June 17.
