JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League performed well at the NAIA Men's Indoor Track and Field National Championships once again, as Marian defended its National Title and the league accumulated 49 NAIA All-American awards, five individual national championships and five top-15 team finishes.
Marian accounted for most of that, winning individual titles in the 4x400, 4x800 and distance-medley relays, as well as a title from Tristan Trevino in the mile. In all, MU piled up 18 All-American nods, scoring in nine of the 21 events.
The CL also took home a pair of top honors from the meet, with MU's Katie Wise-Butler being named the NAIA National Coach of the Year and Marian's 4x800-meter relay being honored as the meet's Outstanding Performer.
The Crossroads League had eight teams place in the team standings, led by Marian in first, Indiana Wesleyan in sixth and Huntington, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Taylor in 12th, 13th and 15th.
