Crossroads League Announces Spring All-Academic Awards
Crossroads League 2022-2023 All-Academic Honors
JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its 2022-2023 Academic All-CL award recipients from the spring semester on Thursday, recognizing 517 student-athletes from the winter and spring sports of basketball, track, bowling, cheer, golf, baseball and softball.
Indiana Wesleyan and Marian led the Crossroads League with 79 and 78 Academic All-CL honors from the spring, followed by Taylor with 65, Bethel with 58 and Grace with 55.
For the entire 2023-2023 year, Marian and Indiana Wesleyan led the way with 125 and 124 honors, while Grace finished with 111, Taylor had 97 and Spring Arbor and Bethel ended with 85.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Crossroads League recognition, a student-athlete must have reached junior status academically with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 at the completion of the semester in which they competed. Individuals must have also been on their team's roster for the entire season and must be nominated by their respective institution.
